Pampering time

You deserve to take time out for yourself! Here are some pampering ideas below.

1. Start off with removing makeup you were wearing to let your skin breathe. This face wash from African Extract Rooibos is a proudly South African skin care line that is 100% natural. No parabens! The face wash removes all your makeup and surface impurities without disturbing the skin’s natural pH balance. This is Suitable for all skin ages and all skin types. What makes rooibos fabulous for the skin is that it is enriched with antioxidants and the production of healthy skin cells.

2. Don’t forget your feet! Treat your feet to some much-needed massage and a relaxing soak. This product here is from Safeway called Foot Spa which can be found at Clicks. It offers the following functions: 1- Vibration. 2-Bubble and warming. 3- Vibration and bubble warming. You can add essential oils to the water or bath crystals. Sit back and relax while your feet get taken care of! Apply your favourite cream on your feet then put on extra thick socks to let the cream absorb to get extra soft feet.

3. Getting lost in a book. This book here called He’s just not that into you provides women around the world with knowledge while having comedic humor to go with it and being brutally honest. The stories in the book are written as fictional scenarios women see themselves in when it comes to men and the authors explain why he’s just not that into you as the title says. If you are familiar with Sex and The City then you would enjoy this book!

4. Prayer time. Normally when a person says the word pampering then prayer wouldn’t exactly come to mind, but think of pampering your mind in this case. What is the point in doing all the other steps mentioned above if your mind isn’t taken care of? When you pray you are taking care of your inner soul and connecting to God and sharing your burdens you might not necessarily share with others. You have that alone time to reflect and that leads you feeling more at ease. This 199 favorite Bible Verses for Women is the right size to even fit in your handbag should you wish to take along with you.

  1. I love this Blog Post!
I always practice Self-Care Sunday to prepare myself mentally and physically for the week ahead. I just take some time out just for me; I turn off my phone, play some good music, take a bath with some relaxing lavender bath salts and a great book (I also happen to LOVE “He’s Just Not That into You”!) and a put on a skin-moisturizing botanical facial mask. Afterward, I feel so refreshed and rejuvenated and ready to start fresh and with lots of energy on Monday!
